Over us:
Since1995 we have been producing hardy winter cacti. In the meanwhile, our yearly production has reached 100.000 hardy winter cacti as well as companion plants such as Yuccas, Delosperma, Sedum, Sempervivum, etc.
Half of the plants are grown without protection from the rain and other half kept in unheated greenhouse with open ventilation during the whole year. Our assortment consists at present of over 100 hardy winter cacti which in our climate can be kept without rain protection, and further hardy winter cacti (at the moment approx. 100 different varieties) which, where we are, can survive the winter well without rain protection, and flower plentifully.
We produce in a bleak region where certain types reach their limits. For this reason we differentiate the following categories: 1. hardy winter cacti, 2. hardy winter cacti with rain protection, 3. frost hardy cacti ( By longer periods of frost with temperatures down to approx -15°C, little sunshine during the vegetation period/year and a lot of damp, the plants reach their limits and many don't survive the winter.
